I would never extend a WLAN with extenders, these solutions are outdated and in the past only brought frustration, the speed can also drop in an extender chain, another problem is that WLAN devices do not select the extender with the best reception and then literally hang up on the already connected extender until the connection breaks off completely. Spending money on extenders is money down the drain.

For the best WLAN results, I recommend buying a WLAN mesh system, e.g. the one from Xiaomi, it is perfectly suited to provide even large flats with WLAN quickly, can also manage WiFi 6 and up to 256 devices. Each mesh router also has 3 x Gbit Ethernet built in, where you can then use three LAN connections.

The set with two WiFi mesh routers is a bit more expensive than an extender, but you have a solution in your house that not only runs great but is also very fast and can be expanded to up to 10 devices.
