I have 2 questions. 1. does the product work well with a GAMING laptop? And does anyone happen to have any experience with star citizens regarding this joystick? I don't have any experience with joysticks myself but if I do I'd like to try it out with something high quality. Thanks a lot

The part is indeed high quality, very precise and very durable. And it should also work everywhere where 2 USB ports are free and the software can be installed. But:
- The stick has no Z rotation. What else I would appreciate in space sims.
- This Hotas has a lot of controls. My experience with custom mappings was that I just couldn't remember many of them.
- I played Elite Dangerous with it the most, where I had the mapping in at some point due to the number of hours of play. That was also a lot of fun. I had the Z rotation on the mini analogue stick on the throttle.
- I only played Star Citizen with it for a short time. The effort for the mapping and any scripts was still too much for me, or I only look at SC every few months. And with gamepad and keyboard, it's worked quite well so far.
- Obviously, DCS A-10 works great with it, the mapping is correct right away.
- I still have an old steering wheel from the PlayStation 2 days lying around. The pedal unit can also be combined with the stick quite well.
- The price is high, but appropriate for the range of functions.

All in all, this is by far the best stick I've ever had, despite the lack of Z-rotation directly on the stick. For the price, however, I simply use it too rarely.
But I'm already looking forward to FS 2020, when I'll certainly bring it out again.
