Samsung SSD 980
1000 GB, M.2 2280
I have a HP laptop and the following SSD installed: Item#: MZVLB256HAHQ-000H1 Condition: Refurbished Capacity: 256GB Interface: M.2 PCIe NVMe Form Factor: 2280 I now want to replace it with Samsung SSD 980 (1000 GB, M.2). The only difference I see besides the size is Interface: M.2 M Key I can't do that much with it now. Is that compatible?
M-Key is normal for M.2 PCIe x4 NVMe. Your existing SSD also has this, see here and here:
