I do not have this problem, the remote control works perfectly. I followed the manual exactly when programming it.
I can only add 2 things at most;
1. I find the operation of the device buttons* somewhat unintuitive. I often pressed one of the buttons by mistake, which caused the remote control to try to communicate with the non-existent video recorder, for example, instead of with the TV. As a result, the remote control did not seem to work. I reprogrammed it once in the beginning because of this. To be on the safe side, always press the device key you have programmed for the desired device, e.g. before you switch on the device.
*By device keys I mean the keys labelled TV,DVD,SAT,VCR, with the help of which up to 4 devices can be controlled individually. So if you have programmed "TV" for your television, but accidentally pressed "SAT" during the previous day, for example when you put it away after switching it off, the remote control will try to communicate with the device programmed for "SAT" the next day. 2.
If this does not help and the programming is indeed "lost", I would make sure that there is a new, fully charged battery in the unit and if this does not help, I would assume that there is hardware damage.
