I have tried all the codes. Nowhere does the menu button work, only loud and quiet and P+&-. I have a Hanseatic Smart TV. I have to connect to the wifi. But how, if the menu button and the arrow buttons don't work?!
Hello JuliaB929
We are sorry that the remote control does not work to your satisfaction.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to obtain the configurations of all TV sets in the world and to program them into the remote control. Therefore, it may happen that the remote control does not provide enough functions for some devices.
I recommend that you use the automatic code search. It is quite possible that a code for another brand fits better. This is often the case with lesser-known brands, as they purchase their devices from many different manufacturers.
Automatic code search procedure:
The automatic code search uses the same preset codes as the manual code search (5.2). However, the universal remote control searches the codes automatically until the device to be operated shows a reaction. For example, the device to be operated switches off ("POWER" key) or changes the transmitter ("PROG+/PROG-" keys).
Switch on the unit to be operated. 2.
Press the "SETUP" key until the LED lights up continuously. 3.
Use the device key to select the device to be operated (e.g. TV). If the selection is successful, the LED flashes once and then lights up
then lights up permanently. 4.
Press the "PROG+/PROG-" or "POWER" key to start the automatic code search. The LED flashes once and then lights up continuously. It takes 6 seconds until the universal remote control starts the first search.
(Note: Setting the search speed - The default setting for the search time per code is 1 second. If this does not suit you, you can change to a search time of 3 seconds per code. To switch between search times, press "PROG+" or "PROG-" within the 6 seconds before the automatic code search starts).
The LED confirms the respective code searches with a single flash. 6.
6. as soon as the device to be operated shows a reaction, press the "OK" button to save the code and exit the code search. The LED goes out. 7.
7. then test the remote control and check whether the desired functions can be controlled.
It is possible that the first code found is not the most suitable one, or that not all functions are available. In this case, repeat steps 5.3.1 - 5.3.6 The code search starts with the next code that follows the last one saved. 8.
To cancel the automatic search during the search process, press the "EXIT" key.
(Note: If all codes have been searched without success, the universal remote control exits the automatic code search and automatically returns to operating mode. The currently stored code remains unchanged).
I know this is a bit elaborate, but if it leads to the goal...
Good luck and greetings
Andy from Hama
Many functions didn't work on my Durabase TV either. It was just enough for me at the time. But I think that this remote control is intended more for the bigger, better-known brands. LG
