Question about Playseat Challenge
I hope someone can help me a little further. I would like to give my partner the Thrustmaster T300 RS GT for his birthday (that's what he wanted). But now he only has a sofa in his gaming room and not really the possibility to install the control wheel functionally. His opinion: I can put it together somehow. But I think it's a shame to spend so much money on the steering wheel and only install it improvised. I'm now thinking back and forth between this chair and the Wheel Stand pro. With the Wheel Stand, this middle bar between the legs bothers me, I can't imagine that this is not annoying when braking / accelerating. That's why I came up with this seat. My question, is the backrest adjustable (seat tilt)? I'm not a fan of ordering and then returning and if the backrest is adjustable, I think he could adjust it well for himself and would be happy in the end. It's supposed to be a positive surprise. What do you think?
I know the birthday is certainly already history - and I hope you gave him the present ;-) ... The Wheel Stand is sub-optimal, precisely because of the centre bar, which really does get in the way. The Playseat Challenge is excellent value for money - and yes, the tilt can be adjusted, but not separately, which means that the steeper you sit, the higher you sit and the flatter you sit, the lower you sit. But as I said, the seat is really great overall for the price.
I have the seat with steering wheel but don't really need it as I am too wide for both.
