Question about Samsung USB Type-C EO-IC100

I ordered and received the product. Music comes, but only at full volume and although the slider moves, the volume does not change. I can't make phone calls either, my Shiftphone 5ME doesn't recognise the headset via USB C. Recording and Whatsapp voice messages also work. Can anyone help me? Thank you and best regards, Stefan

the Samsung EO-IC100 are only compatible with the following devices: Samsung Galaxy Fold and all Samsung mobile devices without 3.5mm audio jack. The use with the smartphone of other manufacturers is not intended.

I have a Samsung mobile phone and have exactly the same experience. Making calls in particular is tedious. The microphone is of very poor quality. I do not recommend buying these headphones to anyone.

As this is a Samsung product, there is no guarantee that these headphones will work on other smartphones. There are different specifications of USB-C, especially for the pass-through of the (analogue) audio signal. In addition, the phone's firmware must recognise that headphones are connected to the USB-C port.
