I would like to buy the DT 770 Pro, but I'm not sure whether 32 Ohm or 80 Ohm. My intended use is to use the headphones directly on the PC via the headphone jack. Should I buy 32 Ohm or 80 Ohm? 250 Ohm directly on the blade connection is not possible.
My 2021 Macbook Pro can easily drive my 80 Ohm DT 770 Pro. Without further details about your PC I don't think anyone can give a definitive answer.
I use the DT 770 with 80 Ohm on the PC. Works great.
For the PC, smart devices and normal hi-fi systems, I recommend using the 80 Ohm. I also only use the 80 Ohm. For PA and studios, 250 Ohm can and should be used, as they have corresponding preamplifiers.
From what I remember, it must be 80 ohms.
