or in other words, does this version (although cheaper) also include the maximum of options?

the '40th anniversary PREMIUM DELUXE edition' is the current version. The 'normal' is the predecessor. You have the same with the '40th' as with the 'normal' with the update. Jets, Gliders, Helicopters, A310, Spruce Goose etc.
