Fortunately, Arctic Cooling offers a free repair kit. The fault will not suddenly cause the cooler to fail, but will shorten its life span considerably, as the faulty gasket will cause more and more particles to be present in the coolant, which will eventually accumulate in the copper cooling plate and reduce the cooling capacity.
