Is Displayport 1.2 better than HDMI 2.0 ? Which connection supports the HDR function? It is for my computer for gaming

In any case, with HDMI you can't reach the full HZ number of 165. There are more disadvantages which HDMI brings with it, I would google.

I find it very special with HDMI 2.0 connection you have HDR but no 144 HZ.
with DisplayPort 1.2 you get 144Hz but no HDR mode.
Which one do you recommend?
