Sony requires a minimum data rate of 5Gb/s to be compatible with the PS5, this drive is USB 3.0 so it should be compatible but there is no official information.

On the other hand, it is not currently possible to play games that are stored on a hard drive on the PS5.
The hard drive is only used so that you don't need to re-download a game to install it.
