Is it possible to join in a conversation with the 2nd device? In other words: can 2 people each use one handset of this device to make a call to an external third party ( or listen in unnoticed)?

Helpful answer

By default, the second handset says (line busy), but by clicking on the green handset button, you can open the line to talk on or transfer the call. You can then also hear it click.
