NZXT Kraken G12
NZXT Kraken G12
Is it suitable for this GPU: ASUS DUAL RTX2080 O8G
Oh well, the name of the card has completely thrown me off my game.
It should fit!
The mounting depends on the 4 holes around the graphics chip.
Watch a video on how to mount the nzxt adapter.
It's not too difficult.
I recently equipped my 980ti with a 120 AIO and it cools a lot better than the standard cooler.
However, if you want to get more power out of it, I recommend a larger 240 radiator, for example.
Hi!
I assume that you have installed the GPUs in an SLI configuration.
If this is the case, there are too many factors that speak against the upgrade with this AIO adapter:
1. you have to consider that the GPU will be a lot thicker. This also depends on the pump of the AIO cooler. In my configuration, the graphics card is one PCI slot thicker. That's where I see the first problem: Is there enough space between the GPUs? You can't use just any space because of the SLI bridge.
This leads to the next problem: where do you want to run the hoses from the AIO? They are blocking all the lower PCI slots in my configuration.
3. can you place the radiators of the AIOs in a sensible place so that the cooling performance is guaranteed and more importantly: does your case even have enough space to install 2 radiators with fans?
4. then there is the matter of fan control. The GPU does not have the standard 4-pin fan header, to which you can connect a fan splitter so that your GPUs take over the fan control. Alternatively, you can connect the fans to your mainboard, but you need 3 additional free fan headers per graphics card: one for the NZXT adapter (which also has a small fan), one for the AIO pump and one for the fan of the radiator. In your case, this means you need 6 additional fan headers.
Long story short: for a single GPU a top alternative to keep the graphics card cool. For dual GPU rather unsuitable.
If I were you, I would think about a custom waterloop.
I hope I was able to help.
