I had the Quest 1 and before that I didn't have a Rift S but an HTC Vive (years ago). And the Quest 2 is definitely great in terms of wearing comfort. But what massively improved the wearing quality for me was the elite strap with battery. The weight of the battery makes the headset more balanced. It takes some getting used to at first, but after a few minutes it's very comfortable. And the nice side effect with the longer battery life was of course also a bonus :) But yes, it costs an extra 140 - that's a bit of a negative...
