This set has a USB connection for the PC (among other connections), which provides (much) better quality than most analogue audio outputs (e.g. headphone jack/jack) of PCs. If possible, use this or Toslink.
Surround is not possible with this set.

for surround sound you actually need more than 2 speakers, but there are also "fake" surround solutions that supposedly generate surround sound, but these do not have this function, to connect the PC I would recommend an analogue jack to cinch audio cable, but you could also use bluetooth.
