The Sony NW-WS623 is much more of a music player than a pair of headphones. Therefore, the part must first be recorded with songs, which works very well with iTunes, e.g. from a PC with a USB connection to the Sony. Ipad pro might also work if a suitable USB adapter can be provided. Bluetooth is not possible with this model.
Once the songs are on, the device is a joy to use: long battery life, very good sound and weatherproof wearing comfort without tangled cables.
