The connection to the Surface is a mini-DP, which the Surfac Book 2 does not have, so it is not compatible. Is this true?

Helpful answer

The Surface is connected through the SurfaceConnectTM cable. (This is the port where normal charging is done) The Mini-DP refers to the ports in the Dockins station.
