The difference between V7.0 (which is sold here?) and V8.0 (05.2023) is as follows: Version 7.0 4G: FDD-LTE Cat4 (800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz) 3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS (900/2100MHz) Version 8.0 4G: FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/850/2600/900/800MHz) TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41 (2600/2300/2500 MHz) 3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS B1/B5/B8 (2100/850/900 MHz) Anyone have any idea what this means in theory for use here in Switzerland? Better coverage?

Helpful answer

In short: The TP-Link M7350 will work in CH with all three providers. With LTE devices from the Far East, it is important to check the available band numbers. See CH LTE providers below.

In vers. 8.0, the corresponding band numbers (in the correct order ...) were given in addition to the frequencies. Band 20 / 3 / 7 are offered by all three CH suppliers, Sunrise also offers band 8, and the other two band 1. TDD-LTE on band 38 is only offered by Swisscom.
