"Optimised for Skype" should mean that when you set the headset to "Mute", this is passed directly to Skype and you are muted there in Skype.

I honestly can't say. I use the headset successfully with GoToMeeting, Skype, Zoom and general VOIP telephony. It works perfectly everywhere
