Milk or solid food? Do you use glass bottles or plastic bottles? Avent offers both, which makes a big difference. The water level also plays an important role.

As the amount of food increased, we experimented with setting the regulator to a slightly higher level to make sure the food was really warm. In the meantime, however, I think that the water level is decisive. It's best to read again exactly what Philips recommends - or just try it out. I make sure that the water reaches at least the fill level of the bottle.
