Andy and Bernd were a German duo in the field of folk pop music. Since 1998, Andy Hocewar has been active as a solo artist. He hosts the successful television show "Musikparadies." So far, more than 300 episodes have been produced. In July 2007, Andy hosted the longest folk music and pop music show in the world, over 36 hours live without interruption. Andy (real name: Andreas Hocewar; born August 4, 1971, in Lörrach) and his brother Bernd (real name: Bernd Hocewar; born July 4, 1967, in Lörrach) grew up in Kandern. From an early age, both were active in the children's choir, the marching band, and the music club. They received lessons in singing and voice training and played clarinet and saxophone. Bernd started learning the organ in 1974, and Andy began playing the drums in 1976. As early as 1977, at the ages of 6 and 10, they recorded their first single "Mami, du bleibst zu Haus." From 1981 onwards, both were regularly on tour in southwestern Germany and neighboring countries.
