This work focuses on the differences and similarities between German and Swiss sports reporting in relation to print media. The central question of whether and to what extent the sports journalism of the neighboring countries differs is examined through a literature review. Various aspects are considered, such as the sports journalists themselves, the style and format of reporting, tone, and content. Since the countries only differ significantly in a few aspects of their sports reporting, the small nuances are highlighted and presented both in tabular form and explained in text.
