Product details

The book "Estimating RUNOFF AND SEDIMENT YIELD USING KW-GIUH AND MUSLE MODELS" offers a comprehensive analysis and development of a model for estimating rainfall runoff and sediment yield in unmeasured or inadequately measured micro watersheds. Based on the Kinematic Wave and the Geomorphological Instantaneous Unit Hydrograph theory, as well as the MUSLE model, the applicability of the developed model is tested in three ecologically diverse micro watersheds in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. The results indicate that the model is capable of providing realistic estimates for runoff volumes and sediment yields, making it a valuable tool for professionals in hydrology and environmental science.
