Roland Schwab grew up in Innertkirchen (Bernese Oberland). He then pursued training in music and special education. He was successfully active for 18 years with the children's music duo Leierchischte. Today, he performs at children's concerts under his own name. Rebecca Gugger lives and works in the Thun region as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, and picture book author. She studied at the Bern University of the Arts, taught various painting and drawing courses for children and adults, and taught visual arts at a high school. She has illustrated and written several picture books, which have been published in various languages.
