This was followed by the bestsellers "Limit" (2009), "Breaking News" (2014) and "The Tyranny of the Butterfly" (2018). Schätzing has also made a name for himself as a non-fiction author. In 2006, Bild der Wissenschaft honoured his evolutionary story "Nachrichten aus einem unbekannten Universum" as the best science book. In 2021, he once again made it onto the non-fiction bestseller list with "What if we just save the world?". In 2024, his new novel "Helden" (Heroes) will be published, a congenial sequel to the global bestseller "Tod und Teufel" (Death and the Devil). Frank Schätzing lives and works in Cologne.
