The preservation and sustainable use of natural resources is a key objective of future-oriented urban development and has also been incorporated as a principle in the Building Code. The municipality of Schorfheide is adhering to this principle with the draft of the new land use plan for the area of Schorfheide. A development plan is being created for the area 'Müllerland' in the district of Finowfurt, which aims to consider ecological, social, and economic aspects. Sustainability criteria tailored to the specific conditions on site are proposed in this document for the planning area 'Müllerland'.
