The book "Research Trends in Geographic Information Science" offers a comprehensive collection of scientific papers presented during a colloquium at the Institute for Geoinformation and Cartography at the Vienna University of Technology in 2008. In this work, 15 esteemed scholars share their perspectives and ideas on future research directions in geoinformation science.
