An online presence has become one of the central communication tools for a company. However, many small businesses still present themselves with websites that have been online for many years, have hardly been modernized since their launch, and therefore no longer meet the current technical requirements of search engines as well as the expectations of their visitors. This issue is examined by the author Romina Pankoke based on the online presence of the Kambaku Safari Lodge. The goal is to develop a redesign concept that meets today's standards of search engine optimization and usability. First, theoretical foundations are established, upon which a current analysis of the website and relevant competitor websites is conducted. Based on the insights gained, concrete approaches for the redesign of the Kambaku Safari Lodge's online presence are then developed.
