Whole generations have grown up with the adventures of the little wooden horse that goes out to help uncle Peter, the toy carver. Now the classic "Die lustigen Abenteuer des Rösslein Hü" is available again. Uncle Peter is a toy carver - and one day he will succeed in making a very special little horse. He is happy, because he will certainly find a buyer for his Rösslein Hü. But Rösslein Hü would much rather stay with Uncle Peter. But the toy business is getting worse and worse, and when Uncle Peter falls ill, Hü rolls off to help his friend. Hü travels across the sea, gets stranded on a treasure island, works in a circus and experiences many adventures until she finally comes home happy.
