Bark for Christmas is an original decoration to create the special and magical atmosphere of the festive season in your own home. The decoration is now available in different sizes and colours and in a new height of 70 cm, so that it adapts even better to any room. The ideal solution for anyone who doesn't want to give up the ritual of decorating, even without the traditional Christmas tree. Designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the "Bark" collection was launched in 2015 with the centrepiece of the same name. The authors were inspired by their home, Casa Boucquillon: a place of experimentation, meditation and employees, where symbiosis with nature defines life. The puncture of the "Bark" series is reminiscent of the bark of the trees arranged around the house. The result is a distinctly poetic collection in which each individual object is in constant and harmonious dialogue with nature in its form or function.
