Product details
The Masters chair is an intelligent homage to three classic chairs, redesigned and interpreted by the creative genius Starck. The Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen, the "Tulip Armchair" by Eero Saarinen and the Eiffel Chair by Charles Eames unite with their unmistakable silhouettes in a sinuous structure and create an original and fascinating mixture of styles. Four narrow poles carry the generous and comfortable seat of Masters. Thanks to the special workmanship of the chair, it feels sensually velvety. The special feature of the chair is, of course, its backrest, which is characterised by the gaps and points of contact created by the three different, intersecting backrest poles which merge smoothly into the edge of the seat. Lightweight, practical, stackable and available in many colours, Masters can also be used outdoors. The Masters chair was awarded the prestigious Good Design Award 2010 by the Chicago Athenaeum - Museum of Architecture and Design.
