I would not buy it second time. Not worth this money.
Very disappointed. The construction of wooden frame - poor quality pine wood with gnarled boards that are simply breaking. Few boards are twisted by humidity and required rectification under pressure to make furniture assembly possible at all. Assembly instruction consist two A4 photocopied pages with insufficient level of detail and error in drawing.
Good design spoiled by poor execution and materials. Mattress seem to be ok so far.Pro

I used double thickness slats on my homemade bed....

- Leaves marks on soft floors (without carpet pad)
- Has partial knotholes in the slats
- Be careful when moving, feet are loose and not locked in place
