I am a professional with my own experience. The systems differ and are only partially compatible! Cutting/shortening straight poles is no problem. These only start with a ceiling support and/or when extending over 90cm in L / U shape! To get past this ceiling support with the curtain, you need either the spirelle surprise model (C-profile with groove inside, there are also other manufacturers, e.g. sealskin) or the older systems with the rings. With these there is a special ceiling support! These ring systems are better because of the arch, because with the push-button system the curtain comes loose at random! In addition, you need so-called connecting pieces to extend! Without these details you will fail!

I have no experience. To me, the two hanging systems seem so different that I can't imagine that this could go together with Spirella Surprise. Unless you love "Surprise" ;-)
