Why does a product with LEDs have the worst possible energy efficiency class? "Energy declaration: energy efficiency class 2021G" - Can someone please explain this to me? 29 watts is a far cry from 100 watt light bulbs etc.? Is this an error in the description?

Salut Lubotai, this is relatively easy to explain due to an adjusted scale in 2021. The reason is that since the introduction of the labels, light bulbs (and other appliances) have become more and more efficient. This led to the scale having to be extended upwards to A+++, whereby it then became increasingly granular with the gradations.

The new scale takes this development into account and simplifies the reading of the labels again, in which A again represents the most efficient appliance class without further subdivision. It is also interesting to know that at the time of the introduction of the new scale, no appliance was classified as A, so there is still room for improvement.

Hope this helps :)
