Interesting findings
The app works well, I can set lockout times, pull statistics and always know where my cats are.
I can only set the lockout times as a whole, so not per cat. However, I can determine individual cats, which I want to lock out or lock in (good if a cat is sick). Whether the app makes sense is debatable, I find it very exciting to know the daily rhythm of my cats.Pro

The flap folds
The connection to the hub is stable so far. Everything runs reliably. It is also signalled if a registered cat is only detected but does not go through.
Our previous chip flap could be set so that all cats can go out, even without a chip. This is in case a strange cat comes in somewhere. This is probably not possible with the SureFlapp. In any case, I have not found a corresponding setting.
But with the SureFlap, you can decide for each cat individually whether it is allowed to go out. The old flap couldn't do that.Pro

Unusable
At first we thought - cool!
But for some inexplicable reason, the gate doesn't recognise the chip, especially in the evening, so the cat can't get in or out. Mega cool...
This was the case with the first device and the replacement device supplied by support.Pro

Why are there no better Smart-Flaps?
This new app version 4.0.50 got even worse than before. I have not seen many apps that are as bad in finding relevant functions and as complicated to navigate!!
Additionally even though everything looks fine in App (battery, connection,…) since now one week the flap stays open and we need to manually open and close it is now the third time I have this issue. I suspected the battery level and changed them yesterday and it worked and this morning the flap was not working again (both sides open for all cats 😡)Pro

Flap ok, system around it needs improvement
The cat flap is as good as the predecessor (the one without stroke) and it's really interesting to know when the two Tigerz were visiting again (very often they are not exactly inside in spring ;)).
The app can dipllomatically be described as "very rudimentary", which probably comes from the time when programmers have not yet cared about usability. Also the whole system around it does not work from time to time. Currently, for example, one of the two rascals should be in it, but there is no one.
I have to be honest, I wouldn't buy it again. It's just not reliable: if I still have to check whether the two are really in there or if the transmission didn't work again, it's of no use to me at all.Pro

- You can use it manually so with the normal rotation for out, yes, no and additional stroke
- You do not necessarily need a stroke
- Can be operated manually
- Less noisy than my previous one
