I don't think it's possible to open it by pressing against the flap, because the flap is very stable. My three Maine Coon mongrels have never managed to get out with the flap closed.
However, you also have the option of closing the flap completely (neither in nor out), but there is no mode for this. You would have to switch this on and off again by pressing a button.
