There is a switch with three levels on the underside of the appliance. I can't find anything about this in the instructions and I can't see any difference in the bowl. What is the purpose of the switch? And: shouldn't the bowl close when the saved cat is gone, even if another cat has its head in it? Mine stays open, so the unsaved cat can simply push the other away and still eat everything.

Helpful answer

You can use the switch to influence the time that the flap should remain open. I think it closes the fastest with I and the slowest with III.
Yes, of course, when the stored one goes away it should close again so that the unsaved one cannot eat. But for this the mode must also be switched on - not that you have opened with the big button. The green/yellow light must be on.

The switch is used to vary the waiting speed for closing.

The switch on the bottom is used to adjust the closing speed when moving the animal that has eaten away from the bowl.
