The Ulisse 13DCI closes the gap between mobile monobloc air conditioners and fixed split air conditioners. It is portable, with the indoor and outdoor unit connected by a cooling pipe.
The outdoor unit can be placed on a terrace or hung on an outside wall, for example, while the indoor unit is installed in the room or office to be cooled. The advantage of this type of air conditioning over monoblock air conditioning units is the quiet operating noise as well as significantly better energy efficiency. The 13DCI uses the latest inverter technology, i.e. the capacity of the compressor adapts to the effective cooling demand and therefore does not run at full capacity at all times.
Adjustment is simple and convenient using the remote control included in the scope of delivery. The target temperature can be selected in 1°C steps between 10°C and 32°C. As with all air conditioners, whether low target temperatures are actually reached depends on the size of the room and the amount of heat that comes from the sun or from other devices in the room.
"I Feel" function: The device has two measuring points. One on the device itself, a second is on the remote control. With the so-called "I Feel" button, the remote control measures the temperature and controls the air conditioner. For example, you can place the remote control next to you on the sofa and always have the optimum temperature wherever you are. The only condition for the "I Feel" function is direct visual contact between the remote control and the indoor unit.
The warm room air is drawn in at the front of the indoor unit, cooled and blown into the room at the upper front area. During the cooling process, excess water is simultaneously removed from the air. This water is also fed through the connecting pipe from the indoor to the outdoor unit in front of the fan by means of a hose and is automatically atomised there.
