The compact air purifier AP40 Pro combines a sleek design with efficient air purification, low noise emissions, and minimal energy consumption. The device's construction, based on its 360° filter, represents a radical approach that ensures high air throughput and optimal filtration. The 360° multi-layer filter reliably removes pollutants and contaminants such as fine dust (PM2.5 and smaller), pollen, and other airborne allergens, pathogens like bacteria and mold spores (while inhibiting their growth in the filter), cigarette smoke, exhaust gases (including NO₂), chemical vapors (formaldehyde, toluene, n-butane, VOCs), and odors from indoor air.
All operating states (automatic, levels 1/2/3, turbo, and night mode) can be selected with a single touch via the central easy-touch control element. Additional features such as a timer function, child lock, filter status inquiry, or individual adjustment of performance levels in automatic mode can be conveniently controlled through the associated app "IDEAL AIR PRO." The 360° filter should be replaced approximately every 12 months, depending on the local air pollution level and usage intensity.

Keiner der neun Luftreiniger im Test 2024 ist perfekt, keiner wirklich schlecht. Aerosolpartikel sammeln bis auf das Modell von Dyson alle gründlich ein, wenn die Filter neu sind – und selbst mit gebrauchten Filtern tun sie das mindestens befriedigend. Luftschadstoffe wie Formaldehyd beseitigen aber nur vier effektiv, darunter der teure Ideal AP40 Pro mit dem stärksten Filter...
Das Konzept mit dem eingepackten Filter ist innovativ und dank optionaler farbiger Verkleidungen ist der Luftreiniger auch noch individuell anpassbar. Die Reinigungsfunktion ist gut und beim Feinstaub sogar besser als beim großen Bruder im Test.
