Solide, aber langsam. Brüht sehr heißen Espresso, der eher wenig intensiv und bitter schmeckt. Braucht lange zum Aufheizen – rund 100 Sekunden. Übersichtliches Menü. Kann zwei Cappuccini gleichzeitig zubereiten. Kleine Espressotassen stehen kippelig auf der Ablage, große Latte-Gläser passen nur schräg unter den Auslauf...

Den nächsten Platz nimmt die EA880E One-Touch-Cappuccino von Krups ein (3. Platz): Mit einem Touch-Bedienpanel lassen sich die einzelnen Getränke anwählen. Ein separates Milchbehältnis ist nicht vorhanden; vielmehr schöpft das Modell die Milch über einen Milchschlauch direkt aus dem Milchkarton. Auch hier lassen sich selbst Milch- und/oder Milchschaumspezialitäten doppelt beziehen.
