A critical appraisal As the most important sports president in the country, Peter Schröcksnadel has left a deep mark. He was never comfortable, nor was he uncontroversial. But in any case, the Tyrolean is an exciting personality, a shrewd entrepreneur, a vociferous president and an opinionated sportsman. Florian Madl succeeds in creating an insightful, critical approach that appreciates achievements just as much as it does not leave out weaknesses and low blows. As head of the sports editorial department of the Tiroler Tageszeitung, Madl personally experienced many of the formative events.
