Operation via the touch display seems well thought out. A lavish recipe book helps. The basket sits securely on a rail. Minus: Points deducted for workmanship. The compartment does not close properly.
Tefal or Philips? For French fry junkies with a large kitchen, the Tefal appliance is the obvious choice. If, on the other hand, you are looking for an even more versatile model that can be expanded with accessories, I recommend the Philips fryer. It is available for 300 euros.
