I would be interested in the answer to the question that has not yet been answered: Does the unit switch off completely when the desired humidity is reached, or does the fan then still continue to run?

Can the unit actually heat? Is there a hose in the package to permanently drain the water? Does the LED display contain a room humidity indicator?

The unit consumes energy, so it also gives off heat. In my basement, it raises the air temperature by maybe 1°C. There is a hose connection. A hose is not supplied. The humidity display in the unit always shows much higher values than my external hygrometers at a distance of about 1-2 m from the unit.

No, this unit is a condensing unit. The water is collected in liquid form in the tank. Adsorption units discharge the moisture outdoors with the exhaust air.
