Netatmo NWS01 Smarte Wetterstation
Netatmo NWS01 Smarte Wetterstation
It is an outdoor station and an indoor station. You have to buy the rain sensor separately. But the station is really perfect!
Apple homekit is supported. I have iOS 14.6 on my iPhone 12. It also works flawlessly with my two iPads.
I operate the station with the following set-up: 1 station 2 additional indoor modules 1 outdoor module As it looks like in the app, I could add the following (but I haven't tested this...) 1 indoor module 1 rain sensor 1 wind sensor
I received my station today, it was the hardware version V3, which according to the rumours will soon be supported with Home-Kit.
I don't work with Google Home and use Netatmo via the app.
The station transmits the measured values to the server (Internet) via the WLAN. The Netatmo app (iOS) retrieves the data from the server. For this reason, registration on netatmo.com is also necessary. The outdoor receiver transmits its measured data to the main station via Bluetooth.
Hello, so several people can log on to it, everyone just needs a profile with Netatmo. But I wouldn't recommend this station to you, I now have the complete system from Homematic IP! It's really great and can also be controlled and queried with a voice assistant.
The outdoor module only displays temperature, humidity and the dew point. So the air quality would be missing if you use the outdoor module indoors.
I have been using the stations since August and all data is still visible. BigData, collected data is stored in the cloud and never deleted ;-).
Yes, this is possible within the app. in addition, other actions are possible via IFTTT connection. For example, switching on an external fan heater, etc.
The basic set is always 2 modules. The small one can be used outside or in another room. But you can also use a different meter, depending on what your goal is. I have both Netatmo and Eve Room (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/eve-room-heimautomatisierung-9580950). The advantage of Eve is that it is compatible with Apple Home Kit and other services.
As far as I know you can't communicate directly with the station, but you can get the data from the Netatmo server. https://dev.netatmo.com/en-US/resources/technical/introduction There is no official Phyton library but there are examples in other programming languages.
Several main stations can be registered under the same account and distinguished with freely selectable names
Here, however, the carbon dioxide level (CO2) and not carbon monoxide is measured. 500PPM is approximately the value of the outside air in the city. -> http://www.gesundes-haus.ch/lueftungsanlagen/luftwechsel-und-raumluftqualitaet.html
No, unfortunately Netatmo only offers the indoor module as an add-on module. Sorry. I hope you can use the guarantee.
The connection is by radio. For me, the signal is sufficient between the ground floor and the first floor, but not between the ground floor and the basement (although no other signals go through the ceiling in our house). I can't say much about the accuracy. It indicates the humidity in whole numbers.
When will you start selling the new version?

Not all sensors require a direct WLAN connection. The outdoor sensors connect to the main module via a radio interface in the 868 MHz range, which then sends the data to the network via WLAN.

Hello, The mobile and weather station must be in the same WLAN network. Perhaps the station is in a 2.4 GHZ network and the mobile in a 5 or 6 GHZ network? Greetings
Unfortunately, there is currently no information on the successor model. The current version has been available since September 2019.
