Singer Heavy Duty 4432
I would return this machine because I think it is defective. I don't have anything like that, especially not dripping oil, that's not possible....
I haven't tried it myself, but I can well imagine that thin sails can also be sewn with it.
Perhaps the problem is the thread, perhaps too fine or not suitable for a sewing machine? It doesn't do it for me...
Hello, Yes, it works well for sewing leather and imitation leather. You need to adjust the thread tension carefully. But it works well for sewing bags. Here you are

Hello, I sew up to 6mm leather with this machine. The problem is not the power, but the transportability of the material to be sewn. Does it stick to the foot or can it not be pushed forwards. A Teflon presser foot helps with leather, ban also gets a feed foot.
Our students also found the machine a bit bulky with fine fabrics (difficult to sew "slowly") ... With a bit of practice and a developed feeling for the tip of the foot, we have now produced some great work with fine fabrics and jersey (airy summer dresses, caps (with jersey/stretch, elaborate bustiers).
I use it exactly for sewing leather and I am very satisfied. However, you should not sew fine fabrics, it is too "powerful" for that.
I don't think so. You can download the manual only in German, here on the Swiss page (but it is quite short and simple): http://www.singerswitzerland.com/mechanische-naehmaschinen/heavy-duty-4432.html Or you contact the support here to ask if there is a manual in French. http://www.singerswitzerland.com/kontakt.html
An adapter for the power connection? A Swiss plug is supplied.
Yes it has a light. :)
I suppose you still have to turn the stitch length wheel (d) and the stitch width wheel (c) hard. No, sorry. No idea :-) It's described here in the manual on page 13: http://www.singerdeutschland.de/fileadmin/user/upload/Bedienungsanleitungen/4432_Heavy_Duty.pdf
Please go ahead and contact the Digitec Support, you won't get an answer here in the question tab.
The delivery dates shown are current expectations. Should this change, we would adjust the delivery date on the product page. The item is currently not in stock, but ordered from the supplier.

Hi, This machine is already sold since more than 1 year, so not available anymore, sorry
Yes, you can use a coin or something similar to adjust the rotary screw at the top front to adjust the pressure.
Hello, it is made for it, within reason. Capable of delicacy too.
Operated by foot pedal. I have not had a good experience with this product. My brother and I both bought a machine like this. At the beginning, the thread feed didn't work on mine, so I had to exchange the machine. My brother had a similar problem, so he returned it completely.
Good day Please let our customer service know which spare part it is. I can then contact our supplier.
Yes, you can sew at least two layers of leather. Since it's a mechanical machine, it doesn't mind being 'helped' by turning the wheel. With the right thread and needle it works perfectly.
The power consumption is 105 watts (motor 90W, lamp 15W). The weight of the sewing machine without packaging is 6.4 kilograms.
This could indicate a defect. The best way to do this is to file a warranty claim: https://www.galaxus.de/de/after-sales .
