Black & Decker Steam mop FSMH13E10

I bought the B&D steam mop after the steam mop I was using broke down (after 4 years of service). I went with a B&D steam mop because of the brand (it's big American brand) and hoping it will be better than my existing one (which was manufactured by a relatively smaller company in EU).
I was thoroughly disappointed with the B&D steam mop. My experience is based on using B&D steam mop and comparing the same with the one I had.
Yes, it does generate quick steam and quite powerful - That is probably the only good thing about this steam mop.
Where does it let B&D down:
1. Overall build quality is not sturdy. The plastic quality is not great and does not look "A" class quality.
2. There is no option to control the power or flow of the steam - it is only on and off
3. When using an attachment to clean windows, you have to ensure that your holding height of the handle of the steam mop is higher than the steam outlet. Else steam is not formed and at times water also leaks.
4. There is no indicator for low water - only a harrowing sound as soon as the water is empty.
5. You need to dis-assemble the steam mop for storage as the steam mop handle needs a rest and will not stand on its own.
6. The power cord is too small - This is not a deal-breaker as one can use an extension wire.
I would not recommend buying this mop. There are better options available. I have used the ones which were manufactured by less known companies based in Europe, their quality was much better.
And for those to whom it matters where the product was manufactured - it was in China.
