In fact, the jug only holds about 1 litre. With more, the herbs float out of the plastic filter. You have to pour fast enough so that the jug does not become "shallow".
I would buy the pot again, but I find the incorrect information really bad, so I deduct 2 stars.

Contra
Actually quite practical, and the quality of the jug and teapot warmer is also OK. But what is not good for the price: the lid has very sharp edges and corners on the underside, so there is a risk of injury when washing up. In addition, the lid should have an additional air hole, so pouring in the pot is very tedious.

The old version was much better (2 openings, better for pouring). Practical because the tea stays warm. Elegant and good value.
I love this tea pot set. It just goes with a cosy tea party and looks very nice. Very easy to clean.

Has the designer at Bodum ever used his product himself?
The opening in the lid is so small that pouring is only possible when the lid is lifted. The lid is then full of water from the steam...probably a foot bath.
After the tea has been steeped, the strainer is difficult to remove. Wire handle..round...hot..no problem with pliers, too hot for fingers, it slips on a spoon or fork...again a foot bath.
Bodum - you could do 100 times better.
