Top device for the price! I bought two:
- Large living room; unit does not cool the entire room, but the part that is ventilated is very pleasant. I screwed the supplied window cover into the wooden window (so the window is always open!) and sealed it at the top with a piece of fabric and Velcro.
- Bedroom; wooden construction with hinges to have window open during operation and wooden flap closed, so the room is dark and no warm air comes in. During the day, window closed and wooden flap open. Wood + cut from Jumbo (30chf).

It does its job, but there's no way of stopping the deafening noise.
I would have preferred to spend a bit more on a quieter machine.
But hey, it still helps to get through the summer.

First up - this is a value for money air-con. Ideally runs for 260-280chf but I ended up purchasing this for 300 since its mostly out of stock everywhere & the Swiss summer is getting too much to handle for our kid (we also live on the top floor of a 35yr old apartment building).
The air-con works fine. Will cool the room down in a few minutes. The temperature difference is noticeable but it will not be as effective as a typical spilt-AC. This is expected given its size & footprint. It will also be loud since there is not outdoor unit & everything is pretty sitting inside your room while it works.
Operation is very simple & I'm glad that the LED display is placed on the top and not facing you when you're trying to sleep. More so - you can also turn the display off entirely (thank god!).
The other annoying thing you should note is that during humid days - the ac will spit out a lot of water. So better have a large bucket for pointing the exhaust hose. While this is annoying - its also shows that its doing what it's supposed to do effectively.
Everyhing you need to set up the air-con is provided in the box though setting it up in an older style window is tricky to say the least. I believe if you can set this up right - it can cool very nicely. Overall happy with the purchase.

For the price, a very good device. The installation would be most ideal with a sliding window. With a normal CH window you have to tinker a bit that the hose goes well out of the window.
What I found less great is that I bought it with 11% discount and the standard price is now 40.- cheaper. Does one feel a little pulled over the table....

Overall the machine feels like very good quality. I've seen some poor reviews but if you understand air conditioners and have the right expectations then this machine is very good for the price. The drain hose is very important but if you have a 5 liter bottle it should be no problem. I set up my machine and the window cover in under 20 minutes. My room is roughly 15m2 which is rather small for 10,000 BTUs so my room temperature cooled down in a matter of minutes and I didn't need to leave it on during the night.

basically this AC works fine for small bedroom I guess (10/20m2). It takes a bit of time to refresh the room depending on how you install it but it does the job.
It is also relatively cheap compared to competitors.
Negative points are:
Not adapted to CH windows and therefore you’d need to buy some accessories to have a proper setup. But that’s fine.
It’s a bit loud but still manageable.
The water drain is the main problem for me.
You basically have to drain the water from the AC very often. So either you have an installation where you fit the pipe to the waterhole outside (balcony, windows, etc) and then it’s fine.
Anything else would be a hassle. To empty it manually would need to be done every hour or so. Even putting a recipient under is not ideal as 1. Unless it’s a 5L or more recipient it will get filled very fast and 2. As the water hole is at the lowest point of the machine, you would need to install the machine at a higher level than floor level, otherwise you can’t put a recipient under.
Overall it works but it’s a hassle so I’m surprised by all the positive reviews.
