Am so far satisfied with the device. 1 point but totally annoys me. I think many people buy an air conditioner for the bedroom to sleep better on hot summer nights. If I put a device in my bedroom and turn it off at night, I don't want the display to shine brightly in my face. I don't understand why the display has to light up even when it's switched off. Annoying and needs unnecessary power. At the moment I always have to unplug the device when I want it to be dark. In the future I will possibly cover the display with insulating tape. Further, of course, the remote control looks just as bright when switched off. Also that completely unnecessary. I can't leave the remote in its holder but have to put it upside down on the floor.

Defective after 2 days
I was basically satisfied with the product for 1 day. After the error occurred, I contacted De'Longhi and was advised cordially. In this case (EI / E1 error), the appliance must be returned.
Regarding the non-functioning remote control, I was told that the remote control should work automatically within a radius of 1m and that an installation was actually not necessary. Coincidentally, a colleague ordered the same model only a few days before and the remote control did not work there either, so I have to assume poor workmanship or "coincidence".
I was told by Galaxus support that the weight prevents me from bringing the product over: It has to be picked up.
This was initiated and 1 day later I received a call from Postlogistics.
1st appointment made by phone Thursday afternoon. I then received a confirmation email for Friday all day without consultation.
2. it was not collected on Friday and I followed up again on Tuesday. It would now be collected on Wednesday.
As it was not collected again on Wednesday, I followed up again yesterday, Thursday 06.07.2023.
It would be collected tomorrow, Friday, 07.07.2023, between 15:00 - 17:00, and the postman would contact me if he did not find the product / was not there.
The package is still with me.
Despite this sobering experience, my question to Galaxus "Will I get an exchange or do I have to wait until the new product is repaired?" was not answered. Even my email regarding the current situation with the additional request to inform me about the further procedure was not answered by Galaxus.
I understand that repair and service is not the most profitable aspect of their business. Nevertheless, after a few days it is a little tiring.Pro

Super features & good cooling, quieter than other devices!
I am extremely positively surprised with the performance and volume of the appliance. However, it is true that I am coming from an appliance that cost a quarter of this one. When this appliance arrived it was already bulky packed. But it is not too difficult to unpack. Carrying the device to the top floor was relatively difficult as it weighs over 30kg but it worked. Then I connected the appliance and it worked great, it's also easy to move with the castors. However, the hose is simply too short for most people. I have a perspex insert in the window to insulate the room as well as possible, I can recommend it to anyone! You can buy a customised one here and then cut out the hole for the tube with a Dremel.

Galaxus after-sales service sucks! I'm asked to return an air conditioner that weighs over 30 kilos, while I'm asked to replace a faulty remote control that weighs just a few grams. They ask me to contact the manufacturer. Wonderful! Never again from Galaxus-Digirec!
Excellent cooling performance & great functions
I'm very happy with the device! The cooling performance and features are above average and the value for money is great (ideal time -> see price development). Setting it up was child's play, as was connecting it to the smartphone app. I find the app much more practical than the remote control. The hot days can come!
